Fully integrated electric vehicle charging point stations
Electric vehicle charging is becoming an important part of British infrastructure. With over 700,000 electric vehicles on the road, and growing, the need for EV charging is expected to rise exponentially.
The client is an electric vehicle (EV) charge point operator in the north of England, building multiple sites to host public charging infrastructure. The brief was fairly simple – provide an enclosed space where users can shelter from the weather, and also have a visible area during darker hours. We designed and manufactured a bespoke solution with integrated charging platform, lighting and visible signage so drivers can easily spot the station from the road and nearby roundabout.
The client was happy with their installation, making it a modular ‘cookie cutter’ unit for future installations based off our initial design. We are now working with the client to roll out the station across various sites in the UK, as well as upgrade sites the client is acquiring. We provided the whole service, from start to finish.
